Simple answer is “no”. Having the knowledge and experience we now have following covid, it is clear to me that masks made no difference. I respect others’ right to wear a mask if they so choose, but it should not be mandated for children or adults. Furthermore, I believe, and there is evidence to support the fact, that masks actually did harm to some children.
