Fortify Geauga Newsletter

March 12, 2024

Hello, Friends,

Welcome to a brand new week!  This is the Fortify Geauga Newsletter for March 12, 2024.

It’s been a very busy week here at Fortify Geauga.  Here’s what we’ve been up to:

We launched a new feature, Fortify Geauga Interviews.  Because the Primary election is only one week away, we produced two in-depth interviews with conservative County Commissioner candidates Skip Claypool and Ralph Spidalieri.  We aimed to give you deeper insights into these candidates in our long-format interviews.  We hope you’ll check them out (below).

If you are interested in one conservative’s reflections on the four candidates in the Commissioners race, please read Fortify Geauga President, Tiffanie Broadbent’s Candid personal reflections on the Geauga County Commissioner candidates.

There is a new issue on the horizon that we hope our readers will act on.  It involves checking with your local township to see if your Trustees have pursued implementing a moratorium on marijuana processing and sales in your township.  Fortify Geauga member Sharon Madger provides details and steps for action here.

Would you like to join us for a Patriot Potluck on Saturday, April 6th?  Hang out, make connections, and find out what we’re working on this Spring and Summer.  If you are a conservative in Geauga County or nearby areas, we sure would love to see you there.   Find details and registration here.

Thank you for spending a few minutes with us today.  Have a wonderful week!

Weekly Spotlight:  Geauga County Commissioners Race

This week we bring you in-depth conversations with two conservative Republican candidates in the upcoming Primary race for Geauga County Commissioner.  Fortify Geauga President Tiffanie Broadbent conducted long-form interviews with Skip Claypool and Ralph Spidalieri.  Both gentlemen were generous with their time and took care to give thoughtful answers.  We appreciate their participation.
