Did you know our Geauga County GOP has been enjoying huge momentum this year? They have secured new, competent leadership by electing a wonderful Chair, they now have open meetings (previously closed to the public), the members are working on updated bylaws and forming subcommittees to tackle significant issues in our county and Party.  The members are passing conservative resolutions that represent the voice of our grassroots Republicans (see examples here and here) and the meetings now allow for discussion and debate, which our Party had previously not experienced in more than a decade.

Did you know only few dozen of the 78 Central Committee representatives are actively engaged and pulling in the right direction?  We have some truly inspiring, dedicated Central and Executive Committee members working overtime to improve our Party and make it work for the people.  They need your help to continue this work and help our Party flourish.  A vibrant, effective GOP can’t continue to thrive and grow without reinforcements.

Did you know ALL 78 GOP Central Committee seats will be up for election in MAY 2026?  We need service-minded, grassroots folks like you and your neighbors to fill those seats so we can build on this momentum.   If WE THE PEOPLE don’t fill those seats, who will?   

We are starting NOW and we need your help:  While May of 2026 may seem far off, we are preparing now to find SERVICE-MINDED CONSERVATIVES to fill these seats.  It starts with you!  Please attend our September 28th event, “Growing the Grassroots in Our Party,” with special guest speaker Faith Andrews.  We need people at ALL interest levels:  those who might consider running for a seat, those who would be willing to volunteer to help them, and those who just want to learn more.  

The follow-up:  In the coming months, we will offer information and support to those who wish to run.  Central Committee campaigns are uniquely low-cost and low-key.  Many candidates run unopposed, most spend little to no money on their campaigns. These seats are typically won through a little bit of know-how and lots of word-of-mouth.  Fortify Geauga will hold more detailed information sessions this Winter to help educate service-minded conservatives on the process. 

One last thought:  In the wake of the evil assassination of Charlie Kirk, Turning Point has seen ASTRONOMICAL growth.  In just the last week, there have been tens of thousands of requests to open new TPUSA chapters on high school and college campuses.  Looking ahead, how will our county attract these young people who are waking up to conservative values?  How do we make our county and our GOP the place they want to call home?  We need to commit ourselves NOW to building a conservative, grassroots party to attract the people who will keep Geauga County conservative for generations.
